Paragraphs

     A sure way to a kid's attention is through his stomach.  Present a hamburger or hotdog as a graphical chart for a paragraph.    The topic sentence is on the top bun.  The tomatoes, lettuce, and meat with transitions as ketchup/mayo occupy the juicy part of the burger.  And the conclusion seals the deal.


Make it short!

Paragraph talks about one subject.

Paragraph has 3 parts: topic sentence, body (details with examples), and conclusion sentence.

 Topic sentence = subject     +          opinion

Subject = what are you talking about?  

Opinion  =   diverse, many, majestic, significant, important, amazing
